“Daily Stop”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

I visit here every morning for croissants and baguette. Sometimes even make a second visit for lunch to take back to the villa after a morning at the beach. Hands down best pastries you will find. If you are cooking dinner in your villa, pick up something for dessert. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. I miss this place when back home!

“Try the cheese filled pastry with powdered sugar on it”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

OMG I forgot what they call it but it was FANTASTIC. Bread is yummy and well suited for making dinner in your villa. Morning breakfast and pastries make for a great treat while on the island.

“Delicious Treats”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

We stopped by at the Le Petite Columbre in Lorient and ordered two coffees and a small doughnut to eat in. There were so many tempting options to choose from, such as filled baguettes & sandwiches, croissants, pastries, cakes, pizza slices, salads and other baked treats. All looked fabulous but I managed to resist in order not to spoil my planned lunch !

Service was very friendly and this bakery/coffee shop is recommended.

Later, after having lunch at Les Bananiers I also looked in at the Le Petite Columbre in Colombier. This appears to be the main bakery to serve its branches around the island.

“Daily stop for breakfast; great lunches”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

I stopped in daily for breakfast croissants and pastries and tarts and éclairs for nightly dessert. Everything was fresh baked and delicious. Sandwiches and salads were excellent for lunches. Very reasonable priced with friendly service each day despite my somewhat terrible French!

“Great way to have reasonably priced breakfast and lunch”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We stopped in the L'Orient location daily for breakfast croissants, pastries, tarts, and chocolate cake. Everything was fresh baked and absolutely delicious. We also would pick up sandwiches, excellent salads and the most amazing quiche to take to the beach for our lunches. Feet in the sand, watching the sea, eating a delicious lunch for under 20 euros for the two of us. It doesn't get any better.
