“A Must if in Gustavia Only for a Day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

The only beach that is an an easy walk from the port, it is a good quick glimpse of St Bart's. The beach is as its name implies, shelly, but with combine it with the fashionistas who come to be seen, with the fashion show at the adjacent botique and the decent food at Do Brasil with the tropical setting and one has a most enjoyable experience.

“Never seen so many shells!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

Beautiful beach, strong under tow. Nice view of the yachts. If you want a lounge chair is $20 euros not including umbrella. Very hot, and no other shade. Bar on the beach. The shells on the sand are amazing and literally you could dig down several inches and it would still be shells, never seen so many in my life. Definetly need to see this!

“A must in StBarts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Do Brazil on the beach-fun for lunch or dinner but the main draw is viewing sunsets . Fun also is fashion shows at lunch time of adorable beachwear from shop right next to restaurant. and yes you walk on shells so that's unique!!certain days there is live music. If you want a table on the beach (rather than above) call ahead

“Nice beach, outrageous price for beach chairs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

We were one of those dreaded cruise visitors. The beach lived up to its name- lots of shells. If you want to rent two beach chairs and umbrella from the local establishment- expect to fork over $50 to do such!! Its a relatively short walk from town and cruise ships ( less than 10 minutes from ship). If in the area, definitely worth a stop.
