The Yellow Submarine offers an underwater view of sealife, rocks, and a shipwreck at the mouth of Gustavia Harbor. The Yellow Submarine is a yellow boat, but it is not a submarine. It has two decks, one deck above the waterline, and a second deck below the waterline. The underwater deck has windows that enable customers to view scenery in the water and on the floor of the outer harbor. The viewing area is somewhat cramped, but tolerable. Viewing opportunities are quite limited and do not favorably compare with other local islands.
Our trip was quite a disappointment. Although the advertisements stated that the narrator would give both French and English explanations of underwater life, our trip had mainly French speaking customers and absolutely no attempt was made to give any explanations in English. Apparently the narrator realized her error after the trip, said she was sorry, and offered us a second trip. We did not accept her offer - it was not worth the ordeal.
