This beach is absolutely beautiful. It’s very secluded, so we enjoyed the quiet of it. There are no restaurants or companies providing chairs and such, so come equipped. It was very rough the day we were there. I’m not sure if that’s the norm or if it wS just the conditions for that day.

This beach is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, while we were there the seaweed was so thick in the water that we could not get in to swim. The beach itself was relatively free of seaweed. The smell was quite bad also. Looks like it will be a great place once the seaweed clears up.

Just got back from visit end of June 2018. Unfortunately the seaweed rumors are true. The beach is completely un-swimmable and smells terrible even to just sit there. We went to St Barths and got a villa within 2 minutes of Gouverneur specifically for the beach. We were unable to enjoy it. We were told it's been a problem in the summer months for the last 3-4 years. They try to clean it up but it doesn't matter.

Peaceful, serene and just perfect - the beach is lovely and very easy to access from the parking. Less windy tthan Saline which makes it better for having brought lunch from Chez Maya's. Needless to say, never crowded and buzy, just ideal for some true St Barths feel!

Just visited my favorite (if that is possible) beach in SBH. Just to update, there was “seaweed” at the beach. From end to end arc of this lovely beach there was a small to moderate amount of it that prohibits entering the water. It was not piled up and odorous. I suspect conditions vary some week to week? I tried to ocean swim and it was too rough. As far as post storm damage I think the beach looked great. The beach basically looked similar to my last visit in April 2017. There were signs indicating that the vegetation restoration was being done by a non profit. For those who love SBH there may be opportunity to contribute to the restoration efforts. For the more uninhibited beachgoer there was the usual low key and subtle topless and sans suit sunbathers. So, if you love this beach it’s fine to visit in my opinion. Enjoy

There are not many beaches in the world that have the feel of this beach. The cliffs on either end are high and the blue water beach in the middle are really perfect. There are never to many people on the beach and you really do have your own section. Feel free to go nude as other people are. This beach makes it feel natural.

Lovely, peaceful beach off the beaten track-up a hill, down a hill, round a hill, on and on, windy, windy and then-BOOM-there it is. Gorgeous. Enjoy. Gem, drive nearby for amazing sunsets
