“Wacky location, good food”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

The Ecolodge is up in the rainforest and you have to do some work to get there; scampering down an unlit dirt path (bring a flashlight!!) at night from the drop off point to get to the main cabin. On arrival, despite the spartan surroundings, there is surprisingly good food. We enjoyed a potato, bacon & cheddar soup, and lots of vegetables with the dishes (who expects to find bok choy on a Caribbean island?) The meat dishes were somewhat oversauced for our tastes, but we enjoyed them nonetheless.

“Wonderful experience!”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

This is not just a wonderful restaurant, it is an experience. Fresh, organic food in a delightful place tucked away in the rain forest. Whether you walk up the steep trail from town or take a taxi closer, you will still need to walk down a path a short ways in the dark, so bring a flashlight.

“An experience to not miss!”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

While the group did a night dive, two of us headed to a special evening at the Ecolodge. Best night to go is when Tom van't Hof
is sharing his knowledge with his slide show on the ecology of Saba! Between the wonderful food and his passion/knoweldge as a marine biologist of Saba, we came away full with food and knowledge! The rainforest is about a 5-10minute walk through a canopy of lower rainforest which added to our great experience as well as having the little tree frogs who sing so happily, pointed out to us! Well worth going - but do it when Tom is presenting!

“Awesome place”

Great food and what a cool location. As you walk down the path thru the beautiful rainforest to get here you will immediately notice this is going to be a different experience. Fun location, great food and you get to eat by candlelit chandeliers....what more can you ask for!

We stayed at Ecolodge and really enjoyed breakfast in their restaurant. Fresh local fruit and vegetables were excellent.
