“Montserrat Volcano”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

This observatory needs to be visited, if for no other reason than to get a clear look at the volcano and a better understanding of what is going on here. The observatory does have an excellent presentation, but could benefit from better exhibits.

“Must see”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Not the easiest to access but definitely a "must see" if you have made it to the island. Great views of the mountains, the amazing green forest, and the tragic consequence of 19 years ago.

“Nice view of the volcano”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

You get a really nice view of the volcano and the surrounding areas. It is a nice area to get a picture with the volcano in the background. You should take some time to watch the video, it is astonishing. The pictures are quite alarming as well and they have a really nice souvenir tea cup with a built in spoon. They also have a few samples of rocks that fell from the volcano.

“Great information”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Great to really understand what has happened to the island of Montserrat. The volcano is a living, breathing entity and information helps everyone understand more how safe it is to be on island.
