No complaints about this hotel. The service was great and everyone was friendly (especially the puppy Pablo). Very quaint. Room was very comfortable. Close to everything (island is super small anyway). Jug was our go to taxi guy! Definitely want to come back again at some point in my life. Mosquito bay was amazing. We stayed in March 2013.

My husband and I wanted a quiet beach front hotel that wasn't overrun with people. This was it! Great 2nd story room overlooking the water! The staff was great and the location was close to everything. We returned for another visit a few months later and stayed in the property's casa roja across the street. That was equally as great! This should be the place you stay!!

My husband and I took a trip at the end of April to San Juan for a few days with a plan to visit The Bravo Beach Hotel. We rented a car in San Juan to get to the ferry that took us over to the island, it was a pleasant ride on the enclosed ferry that took a couple of hours. We arrived at the island midday. When pulling in to the port area, we saw a horse and his owner swimming amongst the fishing boats. We then got off the ferry and heard it was just a couple of blocks, after asking someone to point us in the right direction, we walked to the Hotel, although we were offered a taxi ride. Just a couple of blocks and we were at our destination. The friendly hotel staff greeted us warmly and gave us a map of the island with the hot spots to eat and the best beaches to visit. We found our room to be very neat, clean and accommodating with a breathtaking view of the ocean overlooking the pool. It was perfect! It felt like something out of Casa Blanca! Minimal furnishings, wifi access, television (which we never turned on), honor bar system and a deck off our room with a table and a couple of chairs. We settled in and walked around the grounds to take in the exotic landscaping. We walked down the hill to a friendly bar for dinner. They served a simple continental breakfast of cereal, milk, juice, fruit, boiled eggs and an array of breads with peanut butter and jellies which is served down by one of the pools looking out to the ocean. Enjoyed it very much! While having breakfast we met some new friends that invited us to go "beach hopping" with them. The hotel offers umbrellas, beach chairs and other items for a day at the beach, which was really helpful! We visited 3 of the most pristine beaches we had ever seen..it was like being in paradise. It was so warm, but the trade winds were perfectly refreshing and the ocean so inviting.Picture perfect. It was a magical experience. Along the way we saw chickens, roosters and horses running wild. We enjoyed our stay very much and our only regret is that we wished we would have stayed here the entire time.

Room Tip: I loved the room we were in...I think it was #27. Perfect view of palm trees, the ocean and the pool...

This place was quite a find. If you come with another couple I would rent the villa thats connected at the end. You have your own kitchen, living room, back porch, and entrance to the beach. Don't get to excited the beach is good to just walk on in the morning. Not a swimming beach. Also the pool is right there, along with the honor bar at the other end. Honor bar was a safe haven for us. There was always plenty of parking, and town is an easy walk. Which we would always walk to have dinner.

Room Tip: Rooms near the beach are the best. My personal favorite is the villa!!

We stayed at Casa Roja for the week of july 2nd thru the 8th 2014. My wife, daughter and i were there for our other daughters wedding. The hospitality and accommodations were incredible. While we there we had a emergency medical situation, the secretary (Thank you April) called an ambulance and the maintenance man (Thank you Thomas) rode to the hospital with us in case we needed any assistance. The wedding was at the W where other members of the wedding party stayed. Upon visiting the BEACH BRAVO PROPERTY everyone of them wish they had stayed where we were. Thank You Janna and Carl for a wonderful week. WE WILL BE BACK...

We stayed at the Bravo beach hotel in the casa roja, 3rd floor, so awesome. Great value, location, views, and breakfast. Full kitchen and an outdoor bbq area. Staff provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities.
