We just left the best dinner we have ever had on Vieques. Jimmy and his wife have just pulled off an amazing feat. I can't say enough good things so I will leave it up to you to decide what you think.

These guys are well known for their hot sauce, but the recently opened cafe shows off their culinary skills as well. It's a BYOB joint, but their are plenty of places to stock up ahead of time. Our crew enjoyed nachos, tacos, the pork chop special, and a delicious freshly made garlic cheese cake! Everything was excellent and not your garden variety Mexican food. A worthy addition.. go there early on your trip.. you'll enjoy it enough to try it again.

Our group of 4 ate outside which I would recommend, as the street life passes by and adds to the ambiance. Both Jimmy and his wife were welcoming and full of information. The food was very good -- blackened shrimp, pulled pork, fish (can't remember what kind) all cooked well, but not meriting 5 stars. The serviche special, as appetizer, was delicious! Not open on weekends (Jimmy goes catering), BYOB, definitely worth a stop.

The food and service are ok but not great, the pricing is in line for what you get.Its BYOB that was a plus but ,had better food from a food truck for half the price.

The best food on Vieques! I loved the three salsas with the chips as an appetizer. All were phenomenal. The carnitas were amazing. The chicken enchiladas and red mole was excellent. The cherry cheesecake made me want to weep! I loved the subtle "heat" in the cheesecake. Don't forget it's BYOB, but who cares. So good, such a reasonable price. I would have paid much more and still been happy.
