“Isolated but not that black”

This is an isolated little beach with lot of wild horses roaming but it's not that flash to look at as it's only marginally black... therefore looks a little dirty. If you have no car, you can walk here easily from Esperanza, but if you do have a vehicle, forget this beach and head to some of the more attractive ones.

Pretty cool to see the black sand but it was about a 10min walk off the highway through jungle, can not drive cause path is too wooded but there are much better secluded beaches for relaxin

I had never seen a black sanded beach before, and it was worth the trip. Not hard to find at all, and worth the drive. No one really lays out there, so it's just a photo opt type of thing.

We finally found the black sand beach after missing the sign a few times. Pretty cool to dig your toes into the black sand, but we didn't stay long. Other beaches are much better for hanging out.

A lesser known beach for sure. The sand and waves were fun when we were there. You have to hike about 1/2 mile down an creek bed to get there. Lots of horses hand out there because of the fresh water. The clarity of the water isnt the best due to the abrupt shoreline drop off - but an interesting beach.
