This place is perfect if you're looking for amazing mofongo, no nonsense, fresh food, and some delicious hot sauce. Two of us got the chicken mofongo, my daughter got conch and my husband ordered the pork. We all loved our meals. This place was no nonsense, you come for good food. It's simple and very casual - we went straight from the beach and were fine there. It was one of the best meals we had on Vieques and the only warning is that you will leave there as stuffed as the mofongo you just ate.

Loved the service, and the shrimp dish and mofongo with seafood was great! Our waitress was so friendly, and we love the hot sauce that we brought home as a souvenir.

The juca mofongo was delicious. I had only had platano previously and enjoyed trying yuca here! I ordered the chicken and my fiancé the seafood. For 10 bucks, one can not go wrong with the chicken! The seafood is equally as good but not twice, as was the price. The ambiance and service are your typical local Puerto Rican place, so know that when going. When in the mood for a sit down puerto rican meal, go and try the mofongo!

Excellent meal, we had the tuna tartare, goat, and pork. Great location (water view), good service (but had to get the attention of the server a few times), but the only (small) critiques are that the pork chop was medium rare (I prefer medium) and had them cook it for a few additional minutes. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

After passing by this place (which had already been enthusiastically reviewed by people on tripadvisor, we decided to take a chance. Overall, the food in Vieques was not great, and we thought we had nothing to lose. Turns out that we had everything to gain. The cook made every effort to put together a delicious lunch for us which, as vegetarians, isn't always easy on the island. The beans were delicious with a home cooked flavor, the arepas were totally out of this world (easily the best I'd ever had), and the plantains (maduros) were just as good. And the whole meal cost next to nothing. Definitely don't miss this place.
