Owner description: Located at the far western end of Puerto Rico, this narrow beach gets high ratings for diving the offshore reef in 10 to 30 feet of water, which features sloping valleys and huge coral.

This beach is rather difficult to reach but worth the effort. We actually got a flat tire on our way but when we finally arrived we had a most spectacular time. We were alone on the beach and although there is only a short expanse of sand the water views are breathtaking and it is the perfect spot for snorkeling. The snorkeling was wonderful with tons of colored fish, coral and sea turtles. Lots of area to explore in tranquil green/blue waters. A perfect place to snorkel if you are a beginner. Don't miss this beach but bring supplies as there is nothing around. Not packing enough rum was our only mistake.

WE traveled to Vieques and went to Green beach on the advise of Trip Advisor, the roads to Green Beach are very rough with many holes so by the time I got there my stomach was churning. The beach is small but lovely with palm trees overhead at the water, clear water and a reef very close to the shore. On the day we went many small boats had anchored off shore and were enjoying the warm water and beautiful surroundings.

This is not a sunbather's beach, but has great snorkeling just off the beach. Teens and adults loved the easy access and we saw so many fish but the highlights were the turtles and our first octopus!

It was my fist time snorkelling and I loved every minute of it. I didn't need any help (no instructor) to see all kinds of fish. We took pictures with our camera (my wife and I). Some spots are shallower than 2 feet and some spots are about ten feet deep in a couple of strokes. You don't need to go far from the bank to see fish.

There was NO ONE else there. Although it was buggy outside the water, in the water was amazing. Easy snorkeling with a ton of tiny, tiny newborn fish, snapper, crabs, and a bunch of stuff the Navy left behind. Well worth the adventure of getting there (the road is long and potholed).
