Owner description: Located at the far western end of Puerto Rico, this narrow beach gets high ratings for diving the offshore reef in 10 to 30 feet of water, which features sloping valleys and huge coral.

If you like snorkeling, you must try this spot. Reef is VERY large and runs not too far off shore. Saw a ton of fish, including 'cuda and octopus which we hadn't spotted off other beaches. Bring some bug spray with you as they were somewhat harsh.

It took quite a trek to get to the beach, through a dirt road filled with potholes & puddles, but the water was so clear! There wasn't much shade on the beach, so it became quite hot.

The was some mildly interesting snorkling here (about the best we saw on Vieques), but Vieques does not compare to many other Caribean locations. Nice view. Challenging to get to in a car but nice to have a large section of this beach all to ourselves.

Vieques is known for its beaches and Green Beach is a perfect example as to why. The water here is as clear as a pool and is at the perfect temperature come summer time. If that is what your into then definitely try to visit and one last thing there happens to be some nice places to snorkel here as well.

There is shade there. The beach is pretty. Water is warm. Snorkeling is uneventful, but the view of the main island is nice.
