“Kind of a Commerical beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2012

Sun Bay is certainly the go to beach if you don't want to spend the whole day. They have plenty of picnic tables and even a food stand. Also the huge field leading in to the beach always has wild horses grazing and every year we always see a few babies. They will even come up to your car if you feed them apples. My mother does it every time we are down there.
This beach is good for children as well.

“Fun Beach, Lots of room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2012

This was an easy bay to reach on foot from Esperanza. There is a lot of room to spread out on this beach, so you don't feel crowded at all. Wild horses roam the beaches, which make for some great photos, especially at sunset. The beach is a bit steep, but the water is lovely and the palm trees are swaying!

“Relax in the shade of the palm trees”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2012

Easy to find via paved roads! Beautiful beach, lots of palm and fruit trees for shade. Good snorkeling visibility. Some coral to the left by the rocks, lots of fish. Lots of horses wandering around, so bring some apples if you want to check them out. My favorite beach on the island!

“Quiet Beautiful Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2012

This beach is walking distance (1/2-1 mile) from Espernza. It is a large beach that is pretty clean and quiet. Wild horse roam around and is amazing to see them. There are no bathrooms or place to get refreshments. Be prepared to bring your own TP and plenty of water to beat the warm heat. There are some palm trees to take shade under.
