The bartending staff is very friendly and quick to pour a stiff drink! We saw live music one night that was a welcome surprise and karaoke another night that was very entertaining!

Friendly, casual bar - good snacks - a great place to hang out after the beach right on the Malecon in Esperanza

Lazy Jack's is a great spot to grab a quick meal and a drink (I recommend the Pain Killer!). Nothing fancy, but great food and atmosphere nonetheless.

I was here on New Years Eve 2012 and grabbed a drink. The crowd here was a good mix of locals and tourists alike, and they were showing the Bowl Games which was a plus (I believe they, like most other bars on the Malecon have ESPN on pretty frequently). The drinks weren't bad with a pretty good selection and the staff seemed pretty cool as well.

I visited a second time to grab a snack and a drink. We had a sausage and pepper pizza which was actually pretty solid. There was only one bartender at the time (although there weren't very many people at all), and she ended up forgetting our drink. I approached her after about 10 minutes later she remembered immediately and got right on it. She mentioned the drink would be on the house a couple of times, but it still ended up being on our tab though. Overall, decent place to drink, good pizza, decent staff which if trained some more would make this place much better.

Friendly service. Food was very slow to arrive even though there were only two other tables. The pizza was ok (nothing special, but not offensive either). The tacos were very bland, and overall disappointing. The bartender was friendly and was very nice to our kids.

Thank iandi
