Owner description: This rather remote beach is scenic and breathtaking with a mildly rugged coastline and perfect waters for swimming and snorkeling.

A breathtaking quiet and remote beach. You must visit this beach and bring snorkeling gear with you. The surroundings are exquisite! A perfect place to spend the day or any part of the day!

great for snorkeling. go to the reef close to the rocks to the left. unsafe because thugs stay in the woods waiting for peoplwe to go away from the car. just bfor we came in a family lost their iphone from the car. they found their bag in the woods. we were tensed the whole time.

but how could it be, with the calm clear water and beauty beyond description! If you go to Vieques, you have to check this beach out. Get sun or sit in the shade. Need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to negotiate the rough road, but once you're there you leave the real world behind. Enjoy.

We were the only people on this beach for about an hour. It was perfect! Calm, crystal water in a small cove.
The drive down the road is steep and rough...definitely need an suv. Highly recommend!

This is the kind of beach I always have in mind when I'm trying to draw one. This is the color of water I always picture when I'm trying to meditate. Aesthetically delicious and calming. Ahhh. Our 11-year-old scouted fish, our 3-year-old pretended she was Ariel, and our 1-year-old nursed in secret while floating. Happy afternoon for all.

Two reasons I didn't give this place five stars: one grumpy grown-up and a seedy loiterer near the parking area and some unfortunate trash in the mangroves that back up to the beach.

Park at the top of the dirt road down. It's not a few walk; we got a stroller and the kids to the water's edge in a few easy minutes with a little athleticism. This is not too remote at all— just enough to keep huge crowds away.
