“Just getting here is an adventure”

Small, very private beach with caves at the far end with good snorkeling. The surf was a little rough, but not bad. There are shady spots under the palm trees. Gorgeous and very secluded!

“Waves galore!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

Rough water so leave the mask and snorkel at the hotel. You'll need a Jeep to get here. It's through Sun Bay beach ($2 entry per car). It's the ONLY road on Vieques where we used 4x4. Smaller than most beaches on Vieques but very beautiful wide beach, white powder sand, facing south. Very little sea weed. Parking can be tight so go early in the busy season. No facilities.

“Bumpy road”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

It is a very nice beach but the road to get there is very bumpy and depending on the rain can be muddy. What is great about Vieques is there are so many beaches to try.

“Awesome!”

Amazing beach with fine white sand. It was nearly deserted early on a Sunday morning. Windy with large waves.

“Gorgeous beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2014

Terrible drive to this gorgeous beach with lots of waves which is surprising as nearby beaches are calm. This beach is for wave jumping, and riding.Be warned the road to it from hell!
