“kayak/snorkeling off Bahia La Chiva”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

We had never snorkeled, and decided last minute to take a snorkeling tour. We called Abe's and they arranged a 3-4 hour private tour for us the same day with another couple who had also called. Jeffery (sp?) was great. His personality made us feel immediately comfortable. He was responsible, yet informal, so it didn't feel like an awkward tour with some boring stranger. He told us a lot of interesting things about the island, and went to great lengths to get us a coconut. :) He was very funny, we had a great day!

“Wonderful Bio Bay Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

We had a great time on the Bio Bay. Our tour guide was informative, funny, and interesting. I loved the whole experience from the crazy, bumpy van ride to the site, to the actual bio-bay. It was fascinating and very reasonably priced. Note- they provide you with all natural mosquito repellent, so no need to purchase your own. The bugs weren't terrible when we were there, but I managed to get a few bites.

“Like being stranded and having to swim to shore?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

Went snorkeling and after kayaking out a mile to a reef, the guides seemed to forget how to tie a knot with kayaks together. After snorkeling for over an hour, we get back to where our kayaks should be and they are gone. We can see where they are about a mile away on shore for anyone to steal our things. The guides then decided that we all should swim the mile to shore to get our things! Luckily for them my wife and I are great swimmers and in good shape because their careless behavior could have gotten someone drowned.

“Great company to use for biobay and snorkel tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

I went last weekend with my girlfriend while in Vieques and we had the time of our lives. Elizabeth was a terrific guide and we had an absolute blast. Although there was a little too much moonlight for a perfect biobay experience, snorkeling was out of this world. I would totally recommend them as an adventure company for anyone who has the good fortune of visiting the gorgeous island of Vieques.
