We had a good idea of what it looks like but the northern part of the forest was still closed because of the hurricane. nice waterfalls and nice trails though!

We took a tour with Eddie from Pandora Tours and it couldn't have been better! Very Spectacular! We stopped by the visitors center and watched a movie telling about El Yunque before heading up the mountain! And ate some great food on the way down! Great time! A must do in Puerto Rico!

A lot was still closed in October 2018, but visit was still great! Waterfall was very pretty and with a small climb some great pictures! The little tower in the rainforest was a great look out also!

If you are from the Continental USA, This is the place to visit and enjoy while you are in Puerto Rico. You will not find a rain forest in the continental USA. I would also visit the Forest located in the western side of Puerto Rico which contains dry and miniature trees.

As soon as you enter the forest, you can feel a cooler temperature. It has trails, waterfalls, depending on your adventurer level, anyone will enjoy it. It also has a park for zipline.

Everything about my time here was beautiful, but as to be expected in the rainforest it rained every 5-10 mins so you were cold, wet & tired from the extremely long walk by the time you got to the main waterfall.

This place is so beautiful, there are no words.
Diego waterfall was great. The inside half of the park is still closed from hurricane Maria but they expect to reopen by about the end of 2018

Puerto Rico is a relatively small island, so El Yunque stands out as a natural wonder within its geographic area. The temperature in El Yunque is relatively lower, the humidity higher, rain more likely. However one visits, driving through in your own car or taking a tour, El Yunque is a pleasant natural respite.
