Although we had a heck of a time finding this place, it was well worth it. The can can pork was amazing, as was the crab special. The location across from a beautiful beach. You can't go wrong here!

If you want good food, follow the locals. Seafood is their speciality and they served it up beautifully! The Halibut was done very well. The side dishes recommended by our waiter, Kevin, were very tasty.
Will go back again when we return next year!

Service was good but food wasn't a big deal, had better food near by. I had my fish super over cook and the mofongo and both all it taste like was butter didn't like, well maybe ill give it another try.

Hey this is a great, no frills, just some great local cooking. And great service. I love to start with the corn sticks followed by the can can pork chop. The crunchy skin reminds me of a pig roast! Rice and beans are good but they come in different bowls and when no one is looking, I just drink the beans and the great juices! Kids like the streaks, fries and good plantains! Nice cappuccino and flans.

We've gone to this restaurant for the last three years during our annual trip to Dorado. Each time the service has beenattentive and more speedy than other local restaurants. The churrasco is exceptional - large portion and perfectly cooked. The seafood is also very good though I usually stick with the chicken or shrimp and rice. Both are very good especially when you add the house's homemade hot sauce.

It's a pleasant, no frills atmosphere for families. Prices are reasonable too. It's a little off the main drag (down the street from the Blue Marlin), but it's definitely worth the trip.

We've been going to Dorado for 11 years now and have tried virtually every non-chain/fast food restaurant around. And La Villa Dorada de Alberto is one of the best.
