“It's going down hill”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

Breakfast experience:
1. Ordered hot chocolate. Arrived luke warm with very little chocolate in it.

2. 2 members of the party ordered hot milk. A Ritz Carlton restaurant should serve the milk with a tea spoon. Had to use the table forks to stir the milk.

3. One member ordered coffee and another OJ. Received 2 OJs. The waiter talks us into keeping the extra OJ. Coffee is not here. The "fresh squeezed" OJ was sour as lemon juice.

4. Food arrival very very slow. Typical Puerto rico. Can't the Ritz get it right ??

Food, service and ambience as good as it gets. My best fine dining experience in Puerto Rico up to date.

10/10 would recommend.

“Perfect execution, creative, everything tasted great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2014

If only we had room for the 16 course menu. Every aspect of the meal - ambiance (beautiful water view) , service, and most important food was outstanding. We have eaten many places and it was a treat to be exposed to many new dishes, not the usual high end restaurant fare. I am a tough customer but this place deserves at least 5 stars!

“Fabulous Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2014

We had wonderful breakfast's here staying at Dorado Beach. The buffet has lots of nice choices or you can order off the menu. You can sit inside or out. For dinner-definitely request an outdoor table because it overlooks the beach and ocean. It is nice to watch the sunset! The service is fantastic. The food was wonderful-beautifully prepared and presented. The Mi Casa dessert is worth the wait!

“A big fiasco...”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

More marketing than gastronomy. Another Spanish fiasco. Just a celebrity name with good ideas badly executed. There's only 2 memorable dishes in the menu: chicken croquettes and chocolate ganache for dessert. Don't try the Chicken with confit dates and plantain puree. This is literally a chicken thigh (not even a breast) with 3 dates on the side. The chicken is terribly bland/tasteless/insipid...terrible. One of the dishes is just insulting. The name is "Gnocchi de yucca con "Trufas blancas de Puerto Rico" translated as "Yuca gnocchi with heart of palm and Puerto Rico style pesto"... Hey, Mr. Jose Andre!!!!! how could you compare a Heart of Palm with a White Truffle???? What's next? puertorrican mushroom = green plantain? (zetas puertorriquenas por platano?) Please, be creative but not insulting!!!!!!! Ah! one more thing.. Where did you get a puertorrican heart of Palm? Service was good. Contemporary ambience, nice décor.
