Beautiful relaxing vacation. We traveled with 3 small children, and everything was wonderful. The waterpark was perfect for them, towel service was included. We rented a 3 bedroom condo in the Plantation and it was clean and modern, we were very happy with it. The service around the resort was amazing, very attentive concierges.

The town of Dorado was small and not much around but it was nice and quiet compared to San Juan. Grocery stores are easily accessible and a few restaurants.

We would definitely return to the Dorado Beach Resort

I played Dorado Beach East in mid-January. I was staying in San Juan, so that it was some what tricky getting to Dorado.

I thought the golf on a whole enjoyable, the greens freshly mowed, quick compared to other times I've played in Puerto Rico. But I'm not a fan of Bermuda Greens in general.

I did appreciate the quality of bunkers, sand was very playable, much better than on my home course.

I thought the course fairly easy, which is not a complaint, I enjoy putting for birdies and seeing a few drop because the greens were readable and true.

I enjoyed the day, layout and company.

This is not the Hyatt. It is it's own business and separate location. We rented a condo and you get a golf cart to use to go to the waterpark, gym, beach or the clubhouse (golf and restaurant). Also, there are trails you can drive with the golf cart that are picturesque. The waterpark is only open Saturday & Sunday during the school season but the beach is open everyday. Condo was very nice and contemporary. Grocery stores are nearby (outside the complex).

The beach has a bar and restaurant and they can serve you at a table or at your chair on the beach. Zafra, the restaurant an the clubhouse, can have slow service but food was good. The waterpark serves food and beverages and provides you towels, if available. There is a great childrens area with fountains and the lazy river is relaxing to walk thru or float on with the tubes they provide. There are not many chairs so you may be left sitting on the floor along with your belongings. Gym building is small but was never busy. There is a sauna and steam room but no whirlpool.

Need to improve the waterpark in terms of the number of chairs and assure towels are available (there is alot of wasted space) and service can be chaotic. Would be nice to have a whirlpool to relax in in the gym. Zafra needs to improve the service and not have the host say there is no room in the restaurant (when there is obviously only one table occupied) when you have small children. It is acceptable to say that it is best to have small children sit outside. The view is better and atmosphere more relaxing anyway.
