Loved the area, coffee shops, shopping, old San Juan, close to cruise port etc. Small but comfortable room. Two cons, no parking, and a bit noisy. I would stay here again. It was not that expensive compared to the other hotels in the area.

Thank you for your review. Parking is a challenge in the old city, but we have plenty of options within walking distance. I'm glad to hear you'd stay with us again,

The hotel staff of the hotel is super attentive. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The location is perfect if you are looking to immerse in the San Juan old city scene. It can get loud at night since we had a room facing the street however is expected as you are in a city with a lot of nightlife. My only problem was parking. I would have give the five star if there were available parking.

Room Tip: If you are bothered by noise get an internal room. If you are driving a car parking can be a walk.

First of all, I'm delighted to read that you found our hotel perfect! As you can imagine, it's a big challenge in a historic city, but fortunately there's parking within walking distance. Thank you so much for your review, we hope to have you back soon.

After a terrible experience at my original booking at La Teraza, I found this oasis. It has everything you are looking for an more. Rooms are pristinely clean with cold AC. The hotel is outfitted with modern decor and amazing art. The rooftop is also not to be missed, and the front desk service was on point every minute of the day. The location is perfect just steps away to all that old san juan has to offer.

This was a beautifully maintained property. Very much enjoyed my stay, and will visit again. The staff was professional and friendly. The roof deck was amazing, and would be a great spot for drinks or dessert after a day of sight-seeing in Old San Juan!

The hotel, furniture and everything is brand new. The rooms are spacios with modern elegant firniture. The architecture is colonial and very well kept. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is not too big maybe 20-30 rooms, 3 floors high, indoor patio and terrace. There is an elevator.
The only drawback is tgere ni fee parking parking next door is $21 a day. If you oark 2-4 blocks away in San Francisco or Fortaleza streets, parking is free. They do not have a little fridge or microwave. More of a luxury hotel.
Highly recommend it.

Thank you for sharing so many details about Decanter, we appreciate thorough reviews like yours. Yes, parking is a challenge in the old city, but it's worth it considering the beauty and charms of Old San Juan. We do have rooms with kitchenettes, next time you stay please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
