“The best place Ever”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

Be ready for a culture shock. I love this place. This is as real as it get. If you want to experience the best local food at very good prices you have to visit this place. Dont be fool by the way it looks. Its meant to be that way and resemble the puerto rico from the 1930's. They always take care of me. Portions are huge. This is the place I had my first date with my Wife. Parking can be tricky. You need to park in the street.

“Great food, great price”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

This restaurant was like going to someone's house. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going. I tried the picadillo criollo, which is basically ground beef and I had it with rice. It was well flavored and tasted good and for about $6, the price wasn't bad. It was a good bit of food. My husband had the fricase de pollo (which I tried) and he said it tasted good. He even got a second serving of his food for no additional cost, as the person who seated us offered it. Very good service, nice people, good food. I would go hear again if I ever visit Puerto Rico again.

Reviewed October 25, 2012

Prices are good, parking is a hassle. gets full food was too salty for my taste and I can eat almost anything. If you do not know how to cook locall food I gues would be ok. But if you know about real cooking food is sos so or ok

“Excelente”
Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

This was one of the best restaurants that I've been to for comida criolla. From the point of entry to the end, the service was outstanding, something that is difficult to find in san juan. The food fabulous and home style at its best. Will come back in a heartbeat!
