Who would have thought such a great restaurant would be tucked away in a little hotel!!!!!!
We choose the three course meal and it was yummy, the service was superior, food outstanding, little cookie gifts when you left!!! Worth every penny!!! My husband had the salmon and I had scallops, can not say enough!!!!

If you're looking for a culinary experience this is definitely a place for you. Chef Ariel and his team are talented individuals. You can choose from a wide selection on the menu or ask for the chef's recommendations. If you still can't find what you're looking for and have a clear idea of what is, ask the Maitre D, he will have the Chef prepare it for you. Marcos the sommelier has a vast knowledge of wines from all over the world. He probably is one the top 5 sommeliers in PR. The atmosphere is classic and expect to spend a few hours enjoying your lunch or dinner. There is a small bar adjacent to the main dining room where you can have a drink before sitting down at the table. The wine selection is eclectic and original so you should definitely find something to fit your taste.

Great ambience, great service, very high quality meal. A little bit expensive. The filet mignon exquisite.

Everyone else gave it rave reviews so we had to give it a try. My husband was shocked that we were going to a hotel restuarant - couldn't be a great place. SHOCKER! This is Brooklyn's River Cafe in Puerto Rico! Attentive service with outstanding food. The lobster turnover appetizer was simply amazing! Our kids love to eat good food and my son couldn't get enough of his appetizer and his duck entree was cooked perfectly. They gracious offered to make a smaller entree portion for my daughter who ordered the snapper over risotto. She ate all of it! Our entrees, braised short ribs and potato crusted salmon were delicious. Have a mojito - absolutley one of the best I've ever had and order some Spanish vino! Don't hesitate - order the chocolate souffle when you order your meal this completes the perfect dining experience. Price is comparable to a NYC fine restaurant and you will not regret spending the money!!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting especially after being received by Marcos Mercado. The man takes the experience to another level. The food is spectacular. Coupled with Marcos' wine pairings, it was truly a memorable meal. This is arguably the best restaurant in San Juan. Enjoy!
