I spent 5 days at the intercontinenal in PR Isla Verde area. We ate most of our breakfast and lunch at this restaurant. It was close to the hotel and we had great service. A little slow, but that's how it is on the islands. The food was good and the prices were reasonable.

This was a local restaurant that was within walking distance to our hotel. Food was Puerto Rican fair. Seemed overpriced but it was good. We went a couple of times. Service was nice but don't be in a hurry.

This place is a reasonably priced place to get some good Puerto Rican food. It does get very packed being that it is on a very busy strip so you may have to wait a few minutes. The mofongo is excellent! I've brought my non Puerto Rican friends to this place and they could not stop talking about it! My suggestion is to not even bother with the drinks, in my opinion they weren't that good stick to a beer or regular soda. Try the shrimp mofongo you can't go wrong!

We ordered three steak dinners. Very tough steak, couldn't even cut it with a knife and we did not eat it and told them we were only going to eat the rice and beans. As a "courtesy," they deducted one dinner from the bill. I had to argue with them to redo the bill to reflect thee orders of rice and beans because that is all we really ate.

Read both good and bad reviews but always like to try a place out and form my own opinion. Found the service lacking in both timing and customer relations. The waitress must have rolled her eyes five or six times while we looked over the menu and asked questions. We then asked for a few minutes to decide, and
talked about just leaving because we felt so unwanted. We knew it was close to closing but there was still 30 minutes before they closed. Ultimately, we decided on each picking something different so we could see what was the best dish. Unfortunately, all the food seemed dried out, the rice sticky, the beans bland, and the chicken and steak both cooked until they were tasteless. Cannot recommend.
