We ended up eating here based on a recommendation from a friend.

Pros:
-The view is absolutely amazing. The restaurant really is directly on the beach.
-The food is very good and very well priced.
-They have a nice wine selection

Cons:
-Out of 6 entrees two came out completely raw. With steak, that's okay (even though I asked for it to be cooked medium). However, had my friend not been seated near a light, she would have gotten violently ill. We received a free bottle of wine, which was very nice. Unfortunately, my friend was so grossed out she sent her dish back and did not want a new one or a replacement.
-Our waiter was very pushy at first and tried to get us to order the most expensive bottle of wine.

Overall, our experience was okay. I'd go back just to watch the sunset. However, we'll only be ordering appetizers (they were awesome) and drinks.

This restaurant right on the beach had decent food but very small portions at a great expense. Limited vegetarian options were available and they also had duck, pork, seafood and steak but all portions small and entrees ranged from $21-28. Good sangria for $30 a pitcher which was 5 glasses. Go there for the ambiance and view if you don't mind the expense.

Do not miss this place. We were referred here from the Ritz Carlton and it was our favorite place on their list. The location seems strange when you arrive, but please go inside...it should not be missed! The tables are right on the beach, so you can kick off your shoes while dining. Arrive before sunset for a relaxing start to your meal.
I'm not usually a person who wants appetizer, dinner, and dessert and each course left me wanting more. Trust the recommendations of the staff - They will tell you what is most popular on the menu.
The calamari is out of this world!! It was so fresh and delicious. This is their most popular appetizer. The Mahi is their local fish - Preparation included local root vegetables and local fruits. It was the best fish dish I've had...anywhere. My husband had the duck, which was recommended and he loved it as well. Finally...the bread pudding is their most popular dessert. We couldn't stop eating it. It was truly delicious.
Pricing/Value - Our meal including a couple cocktails, appetizers, entrees, dessert and tip was <$150. It was the best fine dining "value" we found on the island - and we ate at recommended restaurants each night of our 5-night vacation. Thank you, Ritz for recommending this place!

After reading the reviews in Fodor's, we thought that this would be a great place to have a New Year's dinner. However, the service was some of the worst that I have ever experienced. We made a reservation, but they asked us 3 times if we had one and 20 minutes to check in. The wine was warm and it took a while for them to get it on ice.

The restaurant was about 60% full, but the staff were having a very hard time keeping up. Many in the restaurant were quite upset like us.

The food - average at best. Our mains came out cold, and my daughter's main came out at least 10 minutes after the table was served. The portion sizes are quite large so you could consider splitting the main.

If you have kids the french fries are terrible.

We went there for new Year's Eve and were not disappointed. The restaurant is literally on the beach in a gated community. You have to pass through two levels of security just to get there but that's OK. The restaurant has tables both inside and outside on the beach and is very charming. Service is ok. One waiter was extremely nice while another not so (the water guy). Food was good, not inexpensive but not outrageous either. We had a great time and this was a great choice for a special occasion. Something to note: a 15% charge is automatically added to your bill for the "gratuity" whether you like it or not.
