Description: Aurorita Mexican Restaurant serving our customers since 1973. Jose Garcia & wife Elizabeth Carmona started out as the first generation of Food Trucks in Puerto Rico in the 70's and little by little built the restaurant. Their customers are loyal and span at least three generations. Its been in the same corner for 40 years and today and its a landmark in Puerto Rico. With the same passion and dedication, it's now managed by their three sons and an amazing team. The best Mexican Food in Puerto Rico and the best Margaritas in town. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, carnitas, margaritas.

“Horrible, avoid”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

A long time ago I visited this restaurant with the family and it was ok. A very popular place gets very crowded. the thing is that: A) the service is terrible. B) The food is hopeless and C) The prices are just too high. The Margarita's are made with watered down cheap tequila and you get charged as the premium stuff. The food is horrible, bad pork, bad tortillas. Service is basically non-existent, we had two waiters (I guess) and none could get the orders right. Never going back and please don't waste your time and your money there.

“The best escarchada margarita and carnitas”
Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Simple delicious taste! The best refrito in my life, and amazing taste with the juicy carnitas. I always go and it's a huge winner with the almost frozen "escarchada" margarita. The Azteca plate is very tasty and low fat. The best Mexican in the island.

“Don't waste your time”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant I've visited in Puerto Rico. The place is kinda cute, they have valet parking and the restaurant is spacious . That's it. The service was god awful and the food offerings are mediocre, the prices are ridiculous for what you are getting; (bacon in refried beans, so, they have flavor?!? Don't you know any condiments!?) This place just sacrifices quality for quantity and maybe that's why people come here. Never coming back. Awful, awful experience.
