We saw an advertisement for Siglo on a tourist map with the route of the Old San Juan trolley. They claimed to have the best paella and that was on our list to eat. The two of us split the seafood paella for an over-the-top lunch. It does take a while to cook but it was wonderful. It was a massive bowl of seasoned rice with fresh shrimp, sea bass, baby octopus, scallops, calamari and big mussels. We had water with our paella and the bill was $45 and worth every penny and every calorie.
Service was good even with our poor Spanish - it was good that most of the staff spoke some English.
