It was tough to get a reservation at a reasonable hour even a week in advance. We booked it for 9:30 and then dropped in to see if we could get seated a little earlier. We sat at the bar to wait and watched the maestro behind the bar whip up some of the special house cocktails. A table opened up and we were almost sad to leave the bar for dinner. It didn't last long, what followed was one of the best dinners I've had anywhere. Each course was an amazing done with idiosyncratic combinations of local ingredients and spices that resulted in a truly amazing dining experience. The menu changes often but if its still on the menu when you visit, don't miss the popcorn shrimp appetizer. Its not what you think. The chef -owner came out during the meal and obviously cares about his customers and the food he serves. If you are in Puerto Rico do not miss this restaurant.

From the minute we sat down to the end, this was one of our most memorable meals. Funky, fun decor. Great service, unique delicious cocktails with fresh ingredients (my son's was too sweet for his taste, they changed it immediately), inventive food beautifully presented (we love it when a restaurant brings your dish and explains the ingredients again). White bean soup very good! The price is steep, but worth it for a special treat. Our only disappointment were the desserts--not up to the same deliciousness of the food.

This place is numero uno for a reason! In little hard to find street in old San Juan not most desirable location but Food atmosphere service and chef all incredible. More delicious unique options and more attentive staff and chef specifically than most NYC restaurants! Heads up: be very hungry since it's 4,5 or 6 courses only. Best things were bean soup truffle pasta lobster risotto filetmignon and sea bass In coconut . Do NOT leave without banana butterscotch pudding for dessert (made with a croissant). Top notch restaurant in PR for real foodies wanting special experience!

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful for a romantic night out, or for a special occasion. The food is divine. The service outstanding. The paired wines are phenomenal. The chef generally makes a point to visit your table at least once. It's not cheap, but a great value none the less if you want to create an unforgettable memory. You must try the white bean soup and the lobster rissotto - true culinary art.

Probably the most creative and balanced treatment of Sea Bass that we've ever had. Lemongrass chocolate creme brûlée a lovely finish.
