My wife and I had a brief stop in San Juan while on a cruise. We were pressed for time, and had plans to eat at another restaurant on Calle Fortaleza...but when that place didn't open at noon when it was supposed to, we strolled across the street to Parrot Club. It was a great find.
Parrot Club had a nice modern take on traditional foods and ingredients, and clearly put some creative thought in their menu. Our food was delicious, although a little slow. Our server at the bar, David, was so nice and attentive to everything and welcoming. It was a really pleasant dining experience all around.
