Description: The Parrot Club is a nuevo Latino bistro and bar in the SOFO area of Old San Juan on Fortaleza Street. The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Established in 1996, The Parrot Club quickly became a San Juan classic and a SOFO standard. Featuring innovative nuevo Latino cuisine from Chef Guillermo Gonzalez, the Parrot Club's menus spice up classic Latino dishes by combining fresh, local ingredients with modern culinary preparations. This results in flavors that are fresh and exciting. Try the Ropa Vieja Nachos, Pan Seared Shrimp with Arroz Chifa and our own Chocolate Coco Tres Leches. The impressive long blue bar is a scene in itself. Don't miss our world famous Parrot Passion, a frozen blend of Bacardi Limon, fresh orange and passion fruit juice or our classic mojitos. The Parrot Club was designed to take advantage of the colonial architecture of the building with its huge archways and tall beamed ceilings. The colorful art and design is vibrant and happening. Look into the open kitchen or step out to the lovely palm filled courtyard, perfect for private events or dining under the stars. With live Latin Jazz, a terrific weekend brunch, and family friendly lunch daily, there is always something going on in this exciting restaurant.

“Highlight of our trip !”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

On our last trip to Old San Juan I had noticed this place but we didn't have the time to stop in. Now on our return trip we made a point of going. It did not disappoint us.My wife and I stopped in for dinner and I could not decide on 2 of the fish choices so I left it up yo our waitress. It was the best tasting Mahi Mahi Iv'e ever had. The Mojhio was perfect as well ! The service was very good. We hope to return one day. I would like to add that we went on a seven day cruise the week after this out of San Juan and this Dinner was still what I remember about our trip ! Well Done.

“Good food and a great restaurant”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Stopped in for a quick lunch. the food was very good as was the service. Its a kinda cool restaurant with lots of original artwork on the walls. It appears to be owned by the same owners as a number of San Juan restaurants. All in all, a good restaurant to which we would absolutley return.

“Great place for lunch and a drink in Old San Juan”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Top off a day of sightseeing and shopping with a drink and tapas at Parrot Club. It is bright and clean, with a wide variety of local dishes as well as dishes well suited to a visitors taste. Highly recommended for hungry/tired/thirsty visitors.

“A fun late lunch stop”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Yes, is place had a little bit of a toruist feel to it, but it was also really fun and our food was quite good. It was a really enjoyable break in our day in Old San Juan. The Cuban Black Bean Croquettes were delicious. The chorrizo quesidillas and the shrimp and rice main dish were also very good. I enjoyed my coconut martini ( sweet -which I liked not being a real martini drinker). The staff was friendly. Glad we made this our lunch stop. We ate around 2:30 and it was not crowded at all. Decor was Carribean and fun.
