We are fanatic of Fine Arts-Miramar and this restaurant is just in front of it; so its location is good for pre or post a good movie. For months, we have wanted to go and try it, for most of the times was not crowded. Décor is nice and fresh, so it is attractive.
As a frequent traveler and restaurant owner, I have high standards for service. The food in this restaurant is tasty and well-presented…but not great for its price structure. Prices are in the higher end, and service… must be improved. We had two soups, lentil and seafood. Both were tasty, however the seafood soup was cold. The bread came after the soups were gone. For dinner, we had 3 Tapas to share. The Piononos were ordered with meat and came with codfish. The Tostones filled with shrimps were good, but the shrimps are placed on top; and the Cod Fish with garlic was quite tasty and a good portion to share. For desert, we had the cheese custard, which was soft and well presented. For wine we had a California Merlot, which I carry at home. I recommend to buy the bottle, for the by-the-glass is quite expensive $$$$$ and portions are below normal; therefore you may end paying the bottle 2-3 times.
The A/C was not functioning well and they had to turn it off occasionally, but it was bearable. There were a few politicians at the restaurant, which may explain the pricing structure. Service staff is kind and courteous, but needs additional training and improved coordination. In summary, the place is OK; however there are other restaurants with a better offering and value within the in area.
