“Amazing food and service!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013 via mobile

Came here late night and we were warned that there were slim pickings, but were seated anyway. After a semi awkward encounter, we were invited back for a lunch on the house - well worth it!!! We got some heavenly morsels of garlic bread, the 53rd st pasta, a side of pasta with pink sauce (which was enough for a meal and a meager $5), and the caprese salad....everything was amazing! The pink sauce was incredible, as was the balsamic (semi sweet) on the salad. And there's both indoor and outdoor seating. Will go back!

“Had a wonderful meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

We were craving Italian food after eating many wonderful Puerto Rican dishes. We go to a lot of Italian restaurants and have had good and bad. We weren't sure about this restaurant given some of the reviews but decided to give it a try. It was definately a good choice and didn't disappoint. It is within walking distance from the Marriott where we were staying and we found it to have a nice ambiance with an open kitchen across the back. The service was excellent and the wine bottle prices were very reasonable. The prices for the pasta dishes were also very reasonable. The warm bite sized bread rolls that arrived were delicious and I could've eaten a ton of these. The pastas were delicious and the caesar salad and calamari appetizers were also very good. The portions were generous. We didn't have dessert as we were all too full from everything else. At the end of our meal we had a long chat with Riccardo who was very nice and gave us some very helpful pointers about where to eat in Loquillo. It wasn't as busy as some of the other restaurants along Ashford but it really should be! We'd highly recommend this restaurant and we were happy we tried it.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

The food in this restaurant is fabulous. We are from N. Y. So we weren't expecting much. I had the chicken carbonara it was so delicious I finished every bit. My husband had the mussels and he said the portion was huge. Please try this place.

“Something is missing here”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2012

This could be a fabulous restaurant. It has everything going for it. The location is great, but something is missing. The waiters were very good and attentive, but my veal marsala was mediocre at best. The tiny bread rolls were served so hot that I burned the roof of my mouth. Wine runs at $9 a glass, so don't go overboard.
The dessert of bread pudding with ice cream was so heavy that I couldn't finish it. I hope they improve because the place has a lot of potential.

“Salt salt salt”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2012 via mobile

We went there thinking it was a branch of Raos in New York City. NOT! Really terrible food and very salty. I've had an upset stomach since. The fried calamari were practically indelible. Stay away
