“Brick Oven Pizza”

This is the place in Old San Juan for rustic pizza. It is small but so cozy. Appetizers are amazing and the imported beer list is really nice; ask for Ricardo, he is the beer guru there. The pizza is fantastic!! You will have a great experience here.

“YUM YUM YUM YUM”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

We went there after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor and boy, oh boy, was it awesome! The restaurant itself is quaint and well decorated. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We ordered a couple of pizzas and shared. They were both awesome! A great crispy crust and oowey gooey cheesy goodness. This is a really a great find in the middle of Old San Juan. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a pizza, right now!

“Nice place but not a good pizza at all”
Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

The pizza had good ingredients but the flavor didn't have nothing special. I expected a great taste seeing the pictures in trip advisor.

“go-to for "not your average" pizza A+++++”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

BEST PIZZA PLACE IN OLD SAN JUAN and the Metro Area (in my opinion - I've tried most of the pizza places in the PR Metro Area) and hands down Pirilo is one of the top 3. The options range from mushroom pizza to el pecado (which has several types of meat), to pizza with shrimp... it goes on.... I've tried several of the pizzas and they never let me down in terms of flavor. The mamposteao croquetas are their best appetizer. And if you still have space for desert - order the pecan pie!! It is one of the best I've ever had. They also have a varied craft beer menu. And let's not talk about the decoration - cute, cozy, eclectic! And the best part - they recently expanded the place to a second floor which the decor is AMAZING! (this part is open on weekends mostly) ... if you are in the San Juan area and feel like having a delicious "not ordinary" pizza - Pirilo is the place for you! You will leave with a happy belly :)

“Good pizza and beers, what else?”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

They have a huge, creative menu of pizzas, nice ambiance and cozy space that invites you over for food, stay for beers and nice conversation with locals or new friends. Huge selection of craft beers and did I mention the pizza is awesome??? A must when visiting Old San Juan.
