“Best brunch”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

They open at 10 am on Sundays for brunch. We get around 10:20 and waited less than 15 minutes for a table. Food was awesome. My husband ordered the French Toast and I ordered the Croque Madame. We shared and both were delicious. The place was crowded but service was good. The waitress took time to explain to us about the weekdays specials and the activities they have. The only bad thing was the lack of parking. We will be going back for sure.

“Great for weekend brunch”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

This local eatery is as Puerto Rican as it gets. Well run, great atmosphere for people watching, and fantastic food. Worth at least a few visits by anyone vacationing in San Juan.

The area is safe - on Avenida Ponce de Leon - in the gentrifying, artsy area of San Juan.

Because it is popular, expect to wait a bit to get a table...and eating at the counter can also be a wait. The French Toast is to die for!

“Fantastic coffee, eclectic atmoshphere”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We visited the cafe as we were picking up a friend in San Juan and wanted to get some breakfast before driving to Arecibo. You must go here for some of the best coffee on the island!

The menu items are fresh and the recipes and presentation are unique. You can try the breakfast sandwiches that are made panini style on fresh homemade bread and then covered with a type of PR hollandaise sauce and poached egg. Or go for gluten free pancakes served up with fresh fruit or whipped cream. So many options, such good food.
