“Great food, unique and ever changing menu!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I had the joy of eating 2 fabulous dinners at Casita Miramar in my recent stay in San Juan. The restaurant was very nice, with indoor and outdoor seating. The menus are all on chalk boards, brought to your table and change with whatever is fresh! Free appetizers of cod chips/fritters and plantain soup were great. Servers were great at giving recommendations on what to try and explaining all of the dishes. A can't miss restaurant in Miramar, with very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. If they have it, the pork chunks with onions is AMAZING! Best pork I've ever had!

“Great local spot!”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Great friendly service. Food was yummy. Stuffed eggplant with crabmeat was perfectly proportioned & full of flavor. Mahi Mahi was very good. Guava salad dressing was refreshing. My favorite taste of the night was the coconut leche cake. I only wish Inhave left with the recipe.

“A gem of a restaurant”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Recently we stayed three nights prior to a cruise in the Miramar area of San Juan. This restaurant was only a half of a block walk from our hotel and was recommended by the front desk staff. Our experience was very similar to other recent reviews of this establishment. Authentic local colour, frequented mainly by locals, choice of inside or balcony seating, friendly staff, quick service, little waiting time for a table, plentiful portions, regional recipes, reasonable prices and little free extras like cod fritters, plaintain soup, after dinner apertifs.
We went to the restaurant two different nights and were pleased on both occasions. We would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant .

“Nice place”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

We decided to eat here based on trip advisor reviews. The restaurant is nice open and relaxed, the food was nice and lots of it so be very hungry or don't order an appetiser as you get complimentary cod fish fritters and soup and after dinner shots. These touches are very nice but I left feeling stuffed! Sangria was nice but pricey. Service was prompt. Bit out of the way depending on where you are staying.
