A relaxed and friendly atmosphere.Close to Fine Arts-Cinema.Puerto Rican Creative Cousine. As appetizer they served us delicious 'bacalaitos' and plantain soup. They have a variety of native fruit juices like Carambola(Star Fruit) Parcha(Passion Fruit)Guayaba(Guava) and many others delectable fruits.I suggest the Avocado Salad to try.If you want a nice and friendly atmosphere, a cozy place and and excellent Puerto Rican food this is the place....attire Casual-Elegant.

They have a daily menu with soup, apetizers and desserts. Ask for the drink of the house.... anise. Its very cozy place where you taste puertorrican food and style.

Dress: Casual - Formal (we arrived in shorts and t-shirts.. some others were in formal attire)
Location: Just down the street from the Miramar Marriott (convenient for walking)
Atmosphere: Friendly, relaxed, romantic & fun

1st Impression: Where do we go? Just walk in, up the stairs to the left and have a seat. We were served bacalaoito while waiting to be seated. (very tasty)

Our waiter: David was very personable and funny and had excellent recommendations (which we accepted for our orders.)

Appetizer: Bacalaoito (Yep... they gave us more after being seated. On the house!)

Starter: Plantain soup (Included with our meal? On the house I believe because our bill didn't say anything about it.)

Our meal: Casita salad with grilled chicken for the lady (sabroso, I know, I tried it because she couldn't finish it) Pork Loin with rice and beans for me (Deceiving in looks. Appears small in portion, but wasn't able to finish. Very good!)

Additions: David brought out another dish for us to try... for free! It was delicious, but we were already full.

Dessert... Unfortunately we were unable to try any because we were so full from dinner, but we'll be back for that tomorrow.

Side Note: They change up their menu and the recipes often to keep people coming back for more!

Went sunday around 2:30pm, sat us quickly. For starters we had the yuca fritters stuff with crab, not knowing that they give stuff for free as starters. We were given a plaintain broth and then some cod fritters also on the house. We were already stuff, then food came. My friend had the beef stew w a "green rice" , white beans and pana fritters, i had the chicken stew w the same sides my friend had. Everything was delish, seasoning was as it supposed to be. Ahhh and that great passion fruit sangria, too die for. Then after been so stuff that we were unable to breath, they gave us om the house some "chichaito shot", u know to settle the fullness. We had great food, good service and price was ok for the area, will good again!!!!!
