If you want some local food this is a great place. The service, drinks and food were great. We were a party of 8 and noone had a single complaint. There is not much to the decor but we were there for the food and drinks. We started with the sampler appetizer with everything deep fried so how could it be bad ;-)...deep friend cheese, deep fried chicken, deep fried corn sticks and deep friend alcapurras. Between all of us we tried 3 types of Mofongo (traditional Puerto Rico dish) one with skirt steak (super yummy), one with shrimp (delicious) and one with fish. For the non adventurous types they orderd the shrimp with garlic and the skirt steak and there were no complaints. We also tried the 2 types of Gumbo (not a new Orleans gumbo but that is how they translated it on the menu more like a stew/thick soup), one with shrimp and one with mixed seafood and they were fabulous. The Gumbo plates were so big they could not be finished even though we tried. A good place to go when you want to grab something good and not expensive.
