Excellent and fresh food and 2 for 1 mojitos?!?!? Leave me here I am STAYING! The owner comes out to greet people and this place should def. be on your map to visit. The place is chill and laid back. Many locals visit so that def. makes you want to keep coming. This place is way better than Raices. #Jerseygirls :)

“Authentic Puerto-Rican Cuisine in a Laid-Back Setting”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

This place is definitely a dive, but they have great food and good drink specials to boot. Great place for some fresh seafood. We had the the octopus fried plantains, fish tacos, and skirt steak tacos and all were fantastic!

“Word of mouth”
Reviewed December 6, 2013 via mobile

I was told by a frequent visitor, the concierge, and a local to try this place out. Totally lacking atmosphere you wouldn't know what is coming out of the kitchen. Skirt steak that melts in your mouth served with a PR rice that is delicious. Very reasonable prices.

“Great rice and octopus salad”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

This is a great little restaurant with a great view of the bay. The food is great, portions huge and everything is reasonable priced. Loved the puerto rican rice!!!! The Octopus salad was excellent and could be a meal in itself. Their drinks are buy one get one free and they do not skimp on liquor. Great place!!!

“Excellent Food!”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

This place was great! We went to Old San Juan and found ourselves in torrential down pours, so we didn't get to shop or explore at all. We decided to eat something in hopes the rain would pass, but it never did and we stayed at this restaurant for at least three hours. Even though there were people waiting to sit, we never knew because they never bugged us to move at all. It wasn't until we got up to leave that they double checked we were all set and told us there was a line.

We ordered a bunch of different drinks which were all good- I had the traditional Mojitio and since they were buy, one get one free, I could not complain! The food was SO GOOD! I had the blended rice as a side and it was so delicious- I wanted a whole bowl of it. My friends got Mofunga (both garlic and creole) which they loved. We had nachos and cheese fries as appetizers which were what you expect and not expensive! Since we were there for so long, they even gave us complimentary shots at one point. Our bill was $190, but four two apps, five meals and endless drinks, you could not beat it! Although a huge cruise ship blocked our view, we were seconds from the water which would have been great if it wasn't pouring rain. Great place to eat!
