“You will be pleasantly surprised!”

We saw the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. It took us a while to find the restaurant. It is very laid back and unassuming. It's small inside but does have outdoor seating.
Well the food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp monfongo and it was very tasty. My friend had the fish tacos and said they were very good. We ordered appetizers and they were seasoned well. The presentation of the food was excellent.
This restaurant's food is very good and could compete with the best of them. Despite the challenging atmosphere give it a try. We started to leave when we arrived due to the interior of the restaurant. However we were pleasantly surprised by the food and its presentation.

“Great food!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Our family was looking for a place for good local food and found this place a block from our hotel. It did not look like much, but the food was fantastic! I did not know what mofongo tasted like, but it can't be much better than what we had. We would definitely return here on our next trip to Puerto Rico.

“They had me had 2 for 1 mojitos”
Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

Went here for lunch, and of course, ordered the Mojito's. They were excellent and I only had two, but that was all I needed. I ordered fried pork with rice and beans...it was delicious. Our server was excellent and very attentive, despite being slammed for lunch.

“Listen to the reviews”

After seeing the reviews and ratings of Punto de Vista, we set out to find this place while in Old San Juan. It is literally right across the street from the cruise ship terminal. If you are taking the trolley it is right at stop number 1. First of all, yes. The mojitos are buy one get one free all day. We took advantage and had two original as well as two flavored. They are excellent!! The atmosphere kind of reminds you of a local bar, not much to speak of. There are 4 tables inside in the a/c with most seating outside. DO NOT let the atmosphere deter you. The food is amazing and everything you read is true. I had the shrimp mofongo with garlic sauce (perfect amount of garlic) and my boyfriend had the skirt steak churrasco with red beans and rice. It's plated like an expensive restaurant and everything was well seasoned. We also started with chicken nachos which were good but nothing like the main dishes. For 2 entrees, 4 mojitos, appetizer, and tip included, our bill came to just below 60. GO to this place. It's everything people describe it to be.

“Good food”

2 for $10 bacardi mojito and you get to keep the bacardi glasses? OH YEAH! Tried their melon and raspberry mojito, amazing! not too sweet, which is always a plus!

We just came from Snuba at the Caribe Hilton, we walked from there all the way here and did a lot of sight seeing!

Hungry, we ordered the croquestas, churrasso mofongo with creole sauce and the fried carne dish (with rice and beans). The mofongo dish was very good, for $15bucks, it was stuffed with a lot of strips of steak!!! The fried pork dish was very tasty, but some pieces were a little overcook. But overall, everything was yummy and value.

Most of the tables are outside on the sidewalk, and you get to watch trolleys stopping by to pick passengers. After our meal, we waited for the trolley to come and hop on to head over historical sites!
