the building is beautiful old architecture and the first exhibit is great. it is bi lingual and there is a good guide. the other exhibits are either devoted to a single artist? or local culture and are only in spanish. it was worth the 3.00 to learn of the early pre-spanish culture.

Shows varied art and crafts exhibitions, like Indian's and African's influence in Puerto Rican Art, Modern art, Latin American art and others. Good for art and history lovers. Don't open on some days, I think Mondays. Check first.

“Muy Interesante! but warning for parents of "sheltered" children”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

Very neat museum for history buff and art critic alike. Excellent collections of artifacts and presentation of history of Puerto Rico and other Latin American places. Be sure to see the interesting artwork depicting Christ and other holy scenes. BEWARE if you have small children, many nude fugures depicted in gallery showing Latin American tribes and in video to describe casting process.
