Located right next to El Morro, this is worth the look for great pictures. Even from afar the cemetery looks beautiful and intriguing. The ocean in the background is nice against the lighter headstones. If you're not into pics of graveyards, then its worth it to just see from outside though.

Incredibly picturesque! Photographer's dream and historically loaded. You can catch the trolley near the cruise ports which stops by this magnificent historical point.

One of my goals was to trace the route of Raquel in episode 19 of Destinos, which I had in Spanish class (See learner.org to view it).

I found where Angel Castillo had lived at Calle del Sol 4, but the cemetery was locked, so I couldn't find the tomb of Angel and his late wife.

So sad......

This amazing cemetary is positioned right on the ocean. the view is amazing and the history is rich. Our guide explained that those who are priveledged to be buried here are people who have contributed in a major way to the progress and success that Puerto Rico has enjoyed. It sits on land at the fort and is wll maintained. Take the time to stop and visit this place.

Not the coolest cemetery or one with the best stories but decently maintained and nicely located near the fort. If you venture all of the way into it their is a nice pavilion where you can rest in the shade.
