“Quick stop near the fort...”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Looking down on the cemetery was cool and worth a walk to the wall that overlooks the cemetery. Since it is right next to the fort, I would stop by and take a peak at all of the cool tomb stones but don't think it is necessary to walk down the huge hill to walk through it.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

A great Cementary to explore. It was a beautiful experience, the artwork is amazing. There is a tree near the entrance that has all types of children's toys hanging from the branches: unnerving, beautiful, sad. It is worth the stop when you are visiting El Morro.

“I want to be burried here”

Impressive historic cemetery by the sea full of famous Puerto Ricans.
It's not huge however so you only need to put aside 30 - 45 minutes to cover it.

“BEAUTIFUL AND SAD”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

You have to remember it is a cemetery . Even though it is very beautiful .I took some amazing pictures . The tombstones with the ocean backdrop you just don't see all the time . I read on another review that it was not open to the public so we didn't try to go in , we looked at it from the Wall , but we did see some people walking around in there . Not sure if they were family members . There was a guard at the gates . Again we did not try to get in or even try to go near the gate so you may be able to go in.

“Great view”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

We only saw the cemetery from above but it was a beautiful site to see. We did not go into the cemetery because we were not sure how to get into it.
