Location: very close to old San Juan and major expressways - so if you are planning to get out of the city more, it is a good location.
Lobby is really nice - and the pools/grounds are very well maintained.
The hotel has its own private beach with kayaks - that was a good surprise - so you can avoid the crowdy beaches on weekends.
The restaurants in the hotel are pretty expensive - we did not eat much there anyways because the old city has much better/local options.
TV's in the room are pretty old, but you don't go to San Juan to watch TV - so this can be ignored.
The hotel has a daily resort fee of around $13, which is not included in the booking fees - so this will have to be added to your final bills.
We booked the hotel via priceline and good a good deal - so did not really mind the resort fee.
We had a partial ocean view room with balcony - and got to say - it was pretty darn good!
The views at anytime of the day were worth everything.More
