“Stunning Views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

Of the two sites of this kind (the other being San Cristobal) this one had the more breathtaking views. However, San Cristobal had more historical information value. In any case, both are not to be missed. Also, both can be seen in the same day/afternoon.

If you take the open air white trolley either get off at the bottom of the hill and buy an icy treat for your walk up or take the trolley to the end. we didn't realize the trolley went all the way up the hill and if you're too tired to make the trek this is good information!

“A nice way to spend a morning”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

Make sure to go in the morning. Very few people, and the tours/groups don't start showing up in force until around 11. The park is well put together with a lot of nooks and crannies to explore. I learned a lot during the visit. The grounds outside the fort are beautiful with all of the kites, but unfortunately there are usually a lot of used diapers and piles of trash but mid-afternoon.

“Fantastic views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

The views from El Morro are amazing. The day we visited aprrox. 50 people were flying kites in the park in front of El Morro. This only enhanced the overall experience.
