“Beautiful.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014

Calle del Cristo is a lovely street leading to a beautiful, very old little chapel and many pigeons. Picturesque best describes the view of the chapel from the street; it reminded me of Europe. Our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Parnaso, is located on this street as well- and allows us to sit outside with a view of the chapel and people watch while enjoying delicious food and cold drinks. We were lucky enough, on one visit, to hear music being played from a nearby wedding while we were enjoying the scenery and delicious food. On another, we were serenaded by a gentleman who sang with his guitar. I'm sure we will be returning multiple times once again on our next visit.

“Nice shopping and historical area.”

Love the cobblestone streets and the old buildings! If you are a bird lover, search out the area to feed the pigeons, you will be amazed at how many there are!

“Absolutely beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2014

We enjoyed everything about this area, and were thrilled to have time to stroll through the narrow passageways and check out all the stores and little boutiques. (Although we did not have time to go into the church.) I highly recommend that you also pass by the stalls and booths of the local vendors as you walk through, as they do have a lot of very nice and inexpensive wares. You can often pick up a nice gift for under $15.00.

Try it, you'll like it!

I attended Mass at the cathedral of San Juan Bautista. This cathedral was beautiful. It is a very old cathedral and it has so much history. I loved it, the mass was in Spanish.

“Shopping at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

Everything in San juan is walking distance.. if u don't mind the heat.. it is best to walk.. love this little shopping district. It is very hard to find parking.. usually have to pay parking coz it gets busy around here. Enjoy the area.. take your time wandering and window shopping too.
