Overall, I had a pleasant stay but it was somewhat overpriced for what you get. You can best describe the Inn as "funky". It's a very old house connected by "gardens" to other old building to form the inn. This leads to a variety of sized rooms with varying degrees of comfort. Kudos to the innkeepers for turning these eclectic rooms into an "experience". I had two very nice rooms in the front of the inn (the NIco room) and on the second floor (the Stevie room). Both were well appointed and clean if somewhat dark. The Nico room had a stunning view of the ocean. My friends were not so lucky they had "artisan" rooms which were very dank and cramped. Be sure you know which room you're getting before you go. Avoid the "secret room" unless your an anemic vampire as it has NO windows at all.
I found the staff pleasant and helpful. I had to change rooms my second night and it was handled with easy and a smile. Sadly, my friends did not share my experience when they tried to change rooms they were met with blank stares and convoluted policies. Again, make sure you have firm arrangements on rates and rooms before you go.More
