This is a special place, but probably not for everyone. At first, I was afraid that my husband would not be able to navigate the uneven flooring and the multiple stairways, but we both were so entranced by the Inn, that we stayed longer than planned.
When you walk around the Inn, you feel that you are back in time and even in a different world. The Inn comprises six historic buildings with high ceilings, tile, bare beams, and terraces and fountains. There is original artwork in every corner, and interesting furniture and other collections. There are so many outdoor terraces and interesting corners that I was constantly discovering more. To some, the visual abundance may be overwhelming, but to us it was magical. Janet, the owner, is a charming artist and a wonderful character.
We recommend it for those who are looking for an unusual experience, and for fellow travelers who enjoy the same, not the Hilton.
