A wonderful depiction of the military security of the Spanish era of Puerto Rico. There are so many areas of the fort that are open. You can see it all and get a feel of how it would be to live there as a soldier or family.
Well run attraction. Excellent value. Beautifully kept and easy to explore.
Of course, the views are just fantastic!

Smaller of two forts in old san juan area. Great views from this location. Nicely restored. It is a beautiful walk along the ocean from this fort to El Morro

Old San Juan is very cool and Cristobal is one of the reasons. Along with its sibling El Morro, this historic structure has more than 400 years of fascinating history and is situated in a beautiful place.

This area is a must when you visit San Juan. The fort is gorgeous and the walk is romantic. The view of the caribbean sea is absolutely stunning.
