A very interesting structure a lot of stairs and steep access a little dangerous for small children, but a very enjoyable experience.

We rented an apartment across the street from Fort. We spent an afternoon walking around the fort. The historical information is well documented. The views from the top are astounding. My grown son and his girlfriend loved learning about the history of Old San Juan.

San Cristobal is every bit as scenic as El Morro, but receives only a handful of visitors each day. If it seems to far from where you're at, hop on the free trolley and get off at stop 18b, tour the fort while avoiding the crowds.

For only $3 admission, we toured the entire huge fort. This is a MUST visit when in Old San Juan. What is not frequently advertised is the fact that there is FREE trolley service in the city, one takes you in the inner city and the other to the forts.

Nice, historical site. Lots and lots of walking. They encourage you to be hydrated, but don't allow you to bring in water.
